Public Computers and Internet Access
Please see our Internet and Online Access Policy for further details about rules for use.
Public Computers
Each public computer has Internet and printing capabilities. Uintah County Library cardholders receive unlimited free access to our public computers, provided no one is waiting to use the computers. Visitors ages 18 and up may receive a free guest pass. Minors may not receive a guest pass from staff, but parents or guardians may receive guest passes on behalf of their children. Parents or guardians must be physically present to receive a guest pass for children in their care.
Computer sessions start at 30 minutes and will automatically extend, provided no one is waiting to use the computers. Staff members may also extend session time manually. Public computer access ends 15 minutes before closing.
Two public computers are available for use in the children's area on the first floor, with fixed 30-minute sessions. All other public computers are located on the second floor.
Wireless Internet
The Library offers free wireless access to the internet to those with their own laptops and devices. There is no password; just search for the public network and connect. Library staff can point out where the wireless signal is strongest, but cannot troubleshoot an individual’s computer.
